"Everything was wonderful! The service was outstanding the entire time. The food was the best I've had since moving to Fiji and the wine list was great. I very much appreciate the fact that the kitchen let me eat breakfast early on days I was leaving to dive - very accommodating. I also liked the fact that I could choose not to wash my sheets every day - very eco friendly. The bure was always clean, and the turn down service was a nice touch. I also like the fact that Maravu organized transport to and from Lavena with a guide, it let me enjoy the trip so much more!
- There were absolutely no problems whatsoever. I will definitely recommend Maravu to other people, and plan on coming back.
- Kitchen/Roy team is amazing - the food was the best.

"Everyone was very nice and helpful. It was nice to be greeted with music as we arrived and the coconut milk was very refreshing, after traveling for so long. The food was excellent, and the sweet chili sauce was wonderful. I don't know if it's written anywhere on the website but it would be good to mention that there's a CD player for guests so they can bring CDs. Everyone was great and very polite and sincere. Ana at breakfast brought me sweet chili sauce with my eggs without me even asking, whenever we asked about anything or even mentioned anything, it seemed like it was set up so we could do whatever we had asked for. E.g. we had only asked about watching the sunset on the beach and they set up the beach sunset cocktails which were much appreciated. Listening to the Maravu boys was very nice in the evenings.".

"Extreme professionalism of the entire staff. They masterfully walk a fine line between being attentive and respecting personal space. Everyone is so courteous and good at what they do, they made it a wonderful vacation for us. The food is 5*, the menu option excellent and the wait staff so professional. We are in the tree house and love the immaculate accommodations.
- Anna, Baba, Chuckie, Vina, Tina, Tracy, Percy, the girls at the front desk and your chefs, and our kind housekeepers. Really everyone was great, we mention these names as we remember them and simply interacted with them most often. You couldn't have better staff! We and you are so lucky. Service was perfect, just like everything else! We like the coconut drinks, our bags are taken care of and all business is taken care of right away and in a relaxing manner. "I wanted you to know what an amazing honeymoon we had in Fiji. You dialled our trip in perfectly and I have not stopped raving about our honeymoon or our new travel agent since we got back. In fact I have forwarded your email to a friend that is looking into a trip to Fiji. We had a wonderful time. The people of the island are amazing and the staff at Maravu are unbelievable. There was not one request that we made while we were there that they did not accommodate perfectly. We had such an intimate trip and met some interesting people from Australia, Germany and the States. I could not believe how personal it all was. We didn’t want to leave the staff because we felt like we had new friends that we wanted to continue to visit with. Thank you for being so good at what you do. It made our trip perfect".

"The grounds are really beautiful. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel like family. I like the small Resort feeling. You feel like you are staying at someone’s home. The food was also terrific. Everything was perfect & Everyone was wonderful. Esther was great with the story telling and very pleasant. Ana and Lolo were wonderful as were the activity staff. Percy and Niu were real gentlemen. We really loved all the staff and the way we were always asked in the evening if there was anything that could be made better for us. Check in was efficient and warm and friendly handled. Our bure was decorated with flowers and music was played to us when we just arrived. We absolutely loved it all".

"It was our first holiday away from the kids in 12 years and was delightful. Everything you could want for a 2nd honeymoon. Everything was lovely, we enjoyed the peacefulness of the Island and the Resort. The bures were very private and had every comfort required. The views from our deck were splendid, we enjoyed the private spa and outdoor shower. All the staff were efficient, helpful and very friendly. Laite greeted us and explained everything very clearly with a happy disposition and friendly smile. We loved the food. Service was outstanding. We were very impressed that everyone knew our names. It made our stay very personal. I don’t think we could find anything to complain about. Flo and Mary ... thank you for all the wonderful massages. Everything was beyond our expectations".

"We came here to get married in beautiful surroundings and that is exactly what we got. A beautiful Resort with helpful friendly staff. We found all the staff very helpful and willing to assist. They made our wedding very special, exactly as we wanted. We loved the peaceful atmosphere. The quietness with no TV or phone. The personal touch of being called by name. All the staff were really fantastic. Friendly and smiling faces is what we’ll remember. Lolo was very helpful – she always asked how we were doing and even brought us a breakfast tray to our bure when we woke up late. Niu volunteered to carry our bags up to the falls. Check in was neatly set up especially of having the menu planning, coconut drink and massage soon after. Thank you for a wonderful wedding & honeymoon. We look forward to returning in years to come".

"It was perfect. Good and friendly service (bar, service & rooms) And wonderful meals. There was absolutely no problems. We could not have asked for things to be done any better to make our stay any more comfortable, relaxing with perfect meals and staff who always do the right things and at the right times. "The staff are amazing. I would come back just for the service. The food and Bures are exceptional. The personal touches are also great, bed made & chocolate while having dinner. We settled in before anybody fussed with paper work this is very good. Maravu is a very special place, the nature is beautiful. It is very authentic and private and luxurious and all of the staff members really do know what hospitality means".

"Everything was wonderful – the staff are very attentive. The special cake and song on the last nite were very sweet. Having the Maravu Band Boys in the evenings was wonderful – they are an exceptional group. The performance on lovo night was wonderful as well…it was so great to see the children do the traditional dancing. We had no problems at all and all was far better than our expectations. Lolo was especially nice to us making us feel very welcomed. She made a point of calling us by our names. Chuckie and Tina were also very nice & helpful. Setoki was extremely personable & nice. No problems with check in – very fast & efficient. We will miss the specialness of Maravu and recommend you to everyone. Vinaka!!!!!"

"Everything far exceeded our expectation in every way. Lita was always very friendly and helpful, Alfred - thanks for the great horseback ridding tour. Niu - great guide to the waterfalls. Everyone was just wonderful, friendly and happy. Excellent atmosphere. We also enjoyed the freedom of choice for activities each day. You are very accommodating to our fussy eating habits. We loved the little daily things in our bure such as flowers, regular fresh towels and turning down our beds. "The food and the service were excellent! Also, the guided tours were superb. Everyone was very friendly. Flo was very helpful. Also the bartender who set up the candle light dinner was very kind. There were too many friendly people to name them all. Just a few outstanding staff: Chuckie & the Band Boys: for enhancing our dining experience. Chuckie is soooo professional with his work. We also felt very safe when he made sure that we got back to the Resort after attending a village party. This was very commendable for him to take the time after his work hours to ensure our safe return. Jessie, Siteri, Fabiana & Tima: These ladies were so very friendly & made us feel at home. They are the perfect ladies to have as hostesses and servers at the resort. They always made us feel comfortable & important during meals, cocktails, teatime & each time we talked with them. Pita: He took us on our horseback riding trip & also to Honeymoon Island. Pita is a very, very hard worker & so very polite. He does an excellent job keeping up the beautiful grounds & also having to do other duties such as being our Warrior for the wedding, tour guide for horseback & captain for Honeymoon Island trip. Eunice: She made our first day comfortable & feeling at ease. At each request we made, Eunice took care of things immediately. Maretta: What a super job she did in taking care of our Bure. Such a beautiful lady. So friendly all the time! Jochen: for being owner, he was so easy-going & helped us tremendously by volunteering to work our video camera during the wedding. He was also very approachable & easy to talk to. We enjoyed talking with him. Blaze: she helped us by making us feel protected following us to the stores, sleeping on our proch. She helped us by being around so we wouldn't miss our own dogs."
